Owen McCann was born in Dublin, Ireland. In 2007 he moved to Argentina where he studied at the ARGRA school of photography in Buenos Aires. His interest in photography stemmed from a desire to travel and chronicle his adventures. He subsequently began to attempt this in 2008. He is currently based in Berlin.
